Chris Anderson

Chris has been passionately working in the craft beer industry for over 20 years, founding the Coachella Valley Brewing Company in 2013, and Anderson Brewing Consultation LLC in 2017. During his career he has received over 200 medals in beer competitions including: World Beer Cup, Great American Beer Festival, Great Alaskan Beer and Barleywine Festival, LA International Beer Festival, SD International, Toronado Barleywine Festival Peoples choice and is an Alpha King Champion. Previous brewing stints include Midnight Sun Brewing Company, Broken Tooth Brewing Company, Railway Brewing Company, and Alaskan Brewing Company.

Tom Tweedy joins webinar to share insights as a brewing expert

Tom Tweedy

VP of Operations for Green Flash Brewing Co, Tom has over 18 years in the brewing industry and 10 years as a food safety practitioner, holding Global Operations and Brewing roles at Anheuser-Busch and at Stone Brewing Company. Starting in 2002 as a barley & hops agronomist he took advancing roles, eventually becoming Director of Brewing and Staff Brewmaster with responsibilities in materials, process optimizations, new brands, and capital projects including new brewery startups. Tom is currently partnering with the USDA and Hop Research Council, formalizing the process for introducing new public hop varieties for the brewing industry.

Matt has over 23 years brewing professionally in the U.S. He is the former Brewmaster of Brewery Operations at Karl Strauss Brewing Co. in San Diego, Ca. During his time there he won more than 100 awards for their beer including the 2016 Mid Size Brewery of the year at the GABF. While there he spent 5 years as a member of the Hop Research Council and the Hop Quality Group and contributes regularly to both. He is a current World Beer Cup judge and a judge at the GABF.
