I recently I sent my 18-Pounder session IPA to the European Beer Challenge in Europe, it was brewed 11 weeks prior to tasting. This would normally be a problem, but because I rely upon Brewshield to protect the essential hop and bitterness character it had retained all the fresh brewed flavor I expect from this beer, resulting it us winning the Gold Medal

I have since incorporated BrewShield into nearly every whirlpool treatment at our Stone Napa location. Right at the beginning when we started up the brewery, we had to throw away a lot of beer because it lost freshness. I trialled BrewShield in 2017 on our lager and after three months we found that all our control beer went hazy and the Brewshield treated beer was in great condition. Yes, I have definitely noticed the difference. The beer that has been around the longest is an IPA session that we brew in November 2020 (5 months ago). Normally the IPA session lasts up to 3 months. This time we add Brew Shield and the beer has already been 5 months since we bottled it and it is still super fresh. 

I have been using Brewshield on our beers since December 2017 and had great results. Beers seem to remain fresher for longer period than before. I also have noted better color stabilisations as beer seems to remain brighter for longer periods. It is a very easy product to use and would recommend it for any brewery wanting to add longevity to their products.

On the first batch of beer which we trialled BrewShield, it quickly became evident we will be using this in all our brews going forward. Our trial assessment proved that BrewShield preserved our hop profile and extended the shelf life of the beer.

Brew Shield has really helped me, I use it in my PA, Amber Ale, Pale Ale, Neipa and a Porter, pretty much everything I make. My beers now last at least 4-6 months longer than the beers that did not have Brew Shield.

We live in a warm area where many stores do not have ample refrigeration so our challenge is to make sure the beer can endure warm exposure for a period of time. We have been using Brewshield for five months now in Pislners, Pale and Amber Ales. We add it at flame out and there seems to be no affect on flavour or aroma but the beer seems more polished. The beer is more resilient to temp changes which is our main concern. 

I started using BrewShield with the hope that we could hold on to that fresh aroma and taste for a little longer before things went South. It works incredibly well, BrewShield treated beer holds it’s freshness noticeably longer giving me peace of mind that we always have the best representation of our beer in the market.

Yes, it definitely helped me reduce oxidation in the beer. The beers that used to last me fresh for a maximum of 2 months, now have been bottled for 5 months (out of cold storage) and they are still very good, very fresh. After using it I was very surprised by the product, it works very well and I am very happy with the result.

Heat is the enemy of all beer, it prematurely ages beer, impacts on shelf life and the freshness of the product. Distribution can have a major impact on the product especially when beer is left in variable temperatures and is handled poorly. Brewers spend considerable cost on cold chain, warehousing and handling to ensure that their beer lasts and tastes good. Brewshield acts like an additional level of defence and security at a fraction of the cost.

Craft beer is a highly competitive industry, consumers are knowledgable, discerning and keen to experiment with new brands and brews, they also appreciate the premium they are paying for a premium product. No brewer can afford a negative product experience, customers simply do not return and share these experiences online. Brewers need more tools to protect the long term flavor and quality of their product, driving loyalty and positive feedback.
